REACCIONES AL PROYECTO DAMIEN BOXITRACIO HIRST

Se distinguen claramente dos campamentos.  Aquellos que detestan esta obra con respuestas que varían desde la defensa de los derechos de los animales hasta el vegetarianismo (quite moving), y, al otro lado del espectro, quienes la adoran (not surprising at all).  Aquí una muestra de una encuesta realizada en el preview de este proyecto:

A FAVOR:

“Very cruel to animals. Very disgusting, not art.”
“I don´t believe in using dead animals in art.”
“Revolting.”
“It made me not want to eat pork chops.”
“Seeing animals dissected was offensive.”

EN CONTRA:

“I once worked on a pig farm; … every Saturday we would round up a sow and pigs and march them to the butcher.  Pigs are smart and they did not want to go. Now I am a vegetarian, most of the time.”
“I thought it was yucky… yet effective, and people should see that side.”
“A further expression of this Anglo-Saxon meat problem.”
“The split … pig made me fascinated with anatomy and made me think of a butcher shop. Dead flies made me think of the poor and bad sanitation.”
“This was a shocker…. I want to buy food at a health food store.”
“A good argument for vegetarianism.
